2. What is included in the sales package of the Smart Badge BHS-608?
The sales package includes the Smart Badge, a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery (inserted), a travel charger, a mini USB cable, a carrying case and the user guide.

3. Which phones are compatible with this headset?
The BHS-608 can be used with any brand of Bluetooth mobile phones that support the Iqua Headset or Handsfree profiles.

4. How does the Bluetooth technology work in this wireless headset?
Bluetooth technology is based on a radio with a receiver and a transmitter built into a tiny microchip. One of these microchips is incorporated in the Wireless Headset, and another is integrated into the compatible phone. Bluetooth technology allows wireless connections between the bluetooth headset and mobile phone within a radius of up to 10 meters without a physical cable or line-of-sight connection.

5. How is the Bluetooth connection established between the compatible phone and the wireless headset?
To use the Iqua headset for the first time, enter the Bluetooth passcode (0000) to create the connection. As the first user, you become the default user of the headset. Both the default user and the last user of the wireless headset are able to connect automatically when reconnecting. Other users can connect to the Iqua headset from the compatible phone's Bluetooth menu by selecting 'Connect' from the list of paired devices.

6. Can I change the passcode?
No, the passcode for pairing cannot be changed, but the passcode is only needed for the first pairing with a phone. When the pairing has been made once, the bluetooth headset automatically reconnects to the default and last users.

7. How many users does the headset support?
There can be up to eight different users for one headset, but only one user can have an active connection at any one time. By adjusting the headset according to the instructions in the User Guide, the pairing information can be erased and additional users can be paired.

8. How are calls managed via the headset?
There is a Send/End button in Smart Badge, with which you can

• answer incoming VOIP call by pressing the button shortly once
• end active VOIP call by pressing the button shortly once
• reject an incoming call by pressing the button twice
• switch between the headset and phone-mode by long pressing the button
• redial the last dialed number by pressing the button twice when no call is in progress
• activate the voice dial by long pressing the button (phone dependent) when no VOIP call is in progress

9. How does the Smart Badge indicate that there is an active connection between the headset and the phone?
You will see a blinking blue light when there is an active Bluetooth connection between the headset and the compatible phone. You will also see the headset icon on the display of your phone.

10. Can voice tags stored in the compatible phone be used from the headset?
Yes, you can activate the voice dial by long pressing the Send/End button when no call is in progress.

11. Which chargers can be used for charging the Iqua Smart Badge?
We recommend that usersonly use the charger provided in the sales package of the Smart Badge. There is also a mini USB cable in the sales package, with which you can charge your Smart Badge from your PC or laptop.

12. How does the “3-way conference call” work in the Smart Badge?
When a VOIP call is in progress and another call is coming in, a three way conference call can be activated by pressing the Volume up button and hold it for 2 seconds.
